Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. Biology)
The Department of Science offers three-year full time Bachelor of Science (Biology) undergraduate degree programme under the Science stream. This programme is affiliated to University of Kota, Kota and recognizes by Govt. Rajasthan. B.Sc. It is a diverse subject that covers many biological aspects of living organisms including the subject areas of botany, zoology, microbiology, ecology, genetics and molecular biology. Students choose to pursue a degree in biology in order to gain an expert level of knowledge and laboratory experience in cells and organisms and their environments. This expertise can then be applied to further specialization in graduate studies, leading to careers in the health sciences and experimental research. The knowledge and laboratory experience gained will be invaluable to students interested in continuing graduate work in biology, helping them to move on to careers in education, scientific research industries, laboratory work, and government positions. Eligibility: Minimum 48% aggregate marks in 10+2 with Biology/Agriculture from a recognized board, 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/SOBC candidates.
