Master of Science (M.Sc. Microbiology)
The Department of Science offers Two-year full time Master of Science in Microbiology Post graduation programme under the Science stream. This programme is affiliated to University of Kota, Kota and recognizes by Govt. Rajasthan.
The course combines the concepts of biology and chemistry to understand living things and their relationship with the ecosystem. The course covers the study of microorganisms and their effect on human life. M.Sc. in Microbiology is an advanced course that helps students understand the microbes such as virus, bacteria, fungi, algae etc. at a deeper level. Students also learn the role of theses microorganism in waste management and the production of fermented foods. M.Sc Microbiology has a significant role in pharmaceuticals, agriculture, brewery and manufacturing of commercial products. The practicals, research-based project and laboratory work throughout the M.Sc Microbiology helps candidates excel at the workplace with required skills and knowledge.
Eligibility: BSc. with Chemistry, Zoology, Botany/Microbiology, Biotechnology, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Generic & Medicine Pharmacy with 50% marks and 5% relaxation for 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/SOBC candidates.
